 Tsuga Hosts Valentine’s Day Open House. The Tsuga Gallery is proud to host an Open House next Thursday, February 14 to welcome the newest artists to join the gallery. The new members include Sue Garn who specializes in Assemblage, photographer Nick Deal, sculptor Bob Kizziar and abstract artist John Mason.  Grand Opening of the new Tall Tree Café Coffeehouse: Mark your calendars and get ready to party as next Friday, the 15th marks the grand opening of the new Tall Tree Café Coffeehouse. The Chamber of Commerce will be there at 2 p.m. for the official ribbon cutting. There will be door prizes, food and drink specials all day long with the grand opening ceremony kicking off at 5 p.m. Enjoy live music from local artists while exploring the new menu items created by manager Alex Arness.  IGA Cathlamet Market Partners with JDRF to raise awareness of Type 1 Diabetes. Each year 30,000 Americans are diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), forever changing their day to day lives. In an effort to raise awareness and generate funds, IGA has teamed up with JDRF, the largest charitable supporter of T1D research to launch the paper sneaker campaign. The campaign, which kicked off on Wednesday, February 6 and runs to Tuesday, March 26 involves colorful JDRF paper sneakers which will be sold for $1. Shoppers are encouraged to sign and hang their paper sneaker within the store, with the purpose of raising awareness within the community. All funds raised will go directly to our local chapter. 

 Redman Hall Annual Antique Sale: This month marks the return of the annual Antique Sale at Redman Hall in Skamokawa. Scheduled for February 28-March 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you won’t want to miss this great opportunity to view and purchase some of the great treasures of Wahkiakum.
