What's happening on Main Street

Post Office Food Drive--Today marks the beginning of a week long food drive organized through the Cathlamet Post Office. Donation bags will be distributed this week in your mail with Saturday marked as the pick up day. Due to a staff shortage, the post office may not be able to collect the bags from each home, so they have set up a donation barrel within the Cathlamet Post Office lobby. There will also be drop off points this Saturday. Each site will be run by volunteers and is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The three locations are: Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Elochoman Fire Hall, and Wahkiakum High School. All food donated will be distributed within Wahkiakum County via the two food banks. The food drive will run May 9-15. Please do what you can to support our community. For more information stop in or call the Cathlamet Post Office at 360-795-3619.
