Town hosting program on waterfront redevelopment

 


The Town of Cathlamet Town Council is hosting a Waterfront Redevelopment Workshop this

Saturday, 1-4:30 p.m., in the J.A. Wendt Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room, Cathlamet.

The purpose of the workshop is to have public discussion about potential uses of the waterfront and related areas after the construction of the town's new sewage treatment plant.

The agenda includes:

1. Welcome and Introductions by Mayor George Wehrfritz.

2. Sewage Pond: Geotech Overview, Ken Alexander, Project Manager, Gray & Osborne, Inc.

3. Marina Extension Master Planning: John Nelson and Seth Otto, of the architectural firm Maul, Foster, & Alongi.

4. Cathlamet Channel Net Pen Program: Cindy LeFleur, Region 5 Fish Program Manager, Aaron Roberts, Complex Manager, and Shane McEneny, Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife.

5. Funding Strategies: John Nelson and Seth Otto, Maul, Foster, & Alongi.
