Tsuga Gallery will feature the work of Dan Tchozewski in February and March. On Friday, Feb. 10, they will hold a Valentine’s Day Celebration and reception at the gallery, with music and refreshments from 5-7 p.m.

Dan grew up on the eastern shores of Lake Michigan and always enjoyed activities on the beach and water. He is both a woodworker and a photographer. He enjoys taking driftwood and uncovering the hidden beauty of the grains and burls and bring out a natural piece of art. Each piece takes on an original personality and gains an appropriate name. He as been a guest artist at the Broadway Gallery in Longview.

Thirty years of working construction from Key West, Florida, to Dutch Harbor, Alaska, has led to some wonderful photo opportunities. He has captured many expressive photos of our local area which have been published in The Wahkiakum Eagle. Tchozewski is currently serving as president of the Tsuga Art Association.
