The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

"The Mayor and Council of Cathlamet are very grateful to Mayor Paul Helenberg and the citizens of Castle Rock for the gracious gift of an oil painting by Longview artist Jim Eichelberg depicting Cathlamet from the river in the 1880s. We look forward to displaying the painting prominently at Town Hall once renovations are complete. This is a great example of SW Washington cities working together to celebrate our history and heritage."
