CARD OF THANKS On behalf of the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who helped make the recent Crab & Oyster Feed successful. The profits from this event will be used to help continue funding our annual fireworks show at Bald Eagle Days and our Christmas lighting ceremony. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped work on this event. To list everyone by name is not possible, but we are so thankful for the 40+ local businesses that generously donated prizes for our raffle; for Billy Peek, Scott Cameron, Dennis Mueller, Ed Shcrock and Kyle Hurley who helped to cook oysters; for the FFA High School Students who set up tables, served oysters, and helped clean up; for our chamber members, chamber board members and many volunteers who served food; for Wahkiakum School District for the use of their chairs; for the Bridge Church for the use of their tables; for Stanley’s Sanitary Service for the four donated dumpsters, for the staff at Bank of the Pacific for selling tickets, you guys are Rock Stars. Kaelee Dearborn for selling raffle tickets, Marissa Washington who did a lot of everything and for over 400 folks who purchased tickets in support of our event! Thank you to everyone for your commitment to the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce and to our community! Bill Wilkins Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce President

CARD OF THANKS I would like to thank everyone for the love and support I received after Mike’s passing. Tammy Peterson for running to my house when I called, Beth Lorenzo for appearing so quickly she hadn’t taken time to put on shoes, Cindy Fudge for organizing the most incredible food suppy. Our teachers at the school are wonderful, they are also incredible cooks, thank you. This community is amazing. In a total state of devastation I couldn’t function. My family came in, the town took over and I didn’t need to even try. Thank you. I can’t begin to name everyone. I received an amazing amount of cards, calls and visits. It all made an unbearable time bearable. Thank you all so much. I must also mention how good my boys were. Thank you for giving up your rooms and helping out so much during this time. DONNA SAVANT
