For the first time in 12 years, the Wahkiakum High School pep band is fund-raising to raise the $5,000 needed to go to the state basketball tournament.
So far the group has planned:
Pink flamingos will appear in yards around town. Instructions will be attached to the flamingos.
A community concert on January 23, 7 p.m. at the Skamokawa Grange. This concert will feature local adults and high school students. Desserts will follow.
A rummage sale on January 30 at the high school.
