To The Eagle:
We would like to make our neighbors on Morgan Drive and Greenwood Road aware that on Friday night, the 12th, Buzz started to take our miniature Dachshund for a walk. He did not get the door closed behind him when our dog was attacked by a black and white dog that appeared to be at least part pit bull.
Thank God our daughter and son-in-law were there. It took all four of us to get her away from the other dog but she was hurt badly and required a trip to the vet. We do not feel safe taking the dog for a walk now. The next time, it could be a child.
