Finn-Am Jams will present a St. Urho’s Day Dance this Friday at the Naselle School Commons.
Tony Hanson and the Smiling Scandinavians of Seattle will play.
Dance instruction and demonstrations will begin at 7 p.m. with Nina Tetri Mustonen. The dance will run from 7:30-9:30 pm. All are welcome; admission is free; donations are accepted.
Finn-Am Jams are sponsored by the Finnish-American Folk Festival (FAFF) of Naselle.
Coming events include a poetry reading and performance, a Finnish children’s Opera performed with Naselle’s school children, and kantele instruction and a kantele evening featuring Wilho Saari, and a performance by the internationally known musical group Frigg which includes young musicians from Finland and Norway.
