The LCC Concert/Community Choir and LCC Jazz Vocal Ensemble will present “A Musical Showcase” June 7, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Director Joel Heredia has chosen a program featuring favorite tunes from Broadway and movie musicals, such as Rent, My Fair Lady and Prince of Egypt.

He has played with the LCC Symphonic Band for two years, and plays the tuba, baritone, trombone, bass trombone, bassoon and piano.
Tickets for both events are available weekday afternoons at the CTPA box office, (360) 575-TIXX, or at the ticket kiosk two hours before the performance. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 seniors and students. LCC students and staff with ID are admitted free, as are children under 12. The theatre is on Commerce Avenue at Vandercook Way.
