
Wilkins has been playing bass and guitar since �he was a little kid.� He has worked with a number of groups over the years including Phil and The Blank Spots in the �70s. He will be joined by trombonist Bob Joiner who has been playing music for 63 years . He has played with the North Coast Big Band for 12 years and played on the road with Ralph Marterie and Clyde McCoy bands. Dave Drury has been playing drums professionally since the early 1960s and is well know for his work. Pianist Charlie Wilder has been playing as long as he can remember, mostly solo gigs with small groups in the San Francisco Bay and Rocky Mountain area. The play list for the June 9 performance includes material by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael, Fats Waller and Antiono Carlos Jobim.
The performance will take place on June 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cathlamet Pioneer Church. Ticket prices are $12.50 for adults and $8 for youth under 12 years of age. Tickets may be purchased in advance at The Golden Ladder in Cathlamet. An email request to pca1896@hotmail.com. or a check to P.C.A. at P.O. Box 24 Cathlamet, WA 98612 will secure seating for this performance.
