The Cathlamet Woman's Club will host its annual Home and Garden Tour on August 4, 1-5 p.m.
The tour will feature a mixed variety, including one of the "River Retreat" cabins at the Elochoman Marina.
Also on the tour:
• Paul and Nora Lee McCulley's home sits on a cliff overlooking the Columbia River. This home has a 180 degree view that includes Puget Island.
• Dick and Carol Lewis' home is an awesome bit of paradise on the bank of the beautiful Elochoman River, which includes numerous pieces of furniture designed and built by one of their sones.
• Don and Linda Cothren are ideally located on 16 acres also adjacent to the Elochoman River, where every room provides lovely views of the trees and pastures surrounding them.
• Malcolm and Lisa Newkirk's home which sits on peaceful Birnie Slough where Canada geese, mallards and herons are almost close enough to touch. Refreshments will be served.
Tickets are available for $8 at the Bank of the Pacific, Cathlamet Pharmacy, The Bank of America, The Golden Ladder and The Secret Garden. Tickets are also available from Co-Chairwomen Maureen Zacher Bockius at 849-3441 or Mary Dominique at 849-4312.
