Walker Riley 9th in state CC

Wahkiakum Mule senior Walker Riley finished ninth overall at the Washington Class B Cross Country Meet last Saturday in Pasco.
Riley finished the 5k course in 17:49.
Matt Cronrath of Odessa won the meet in 16:40.
Riley competed in the state meet as a sophomore and junior. Last year he finished in sixth place.
Saint George’s of Spokane won the team competition with 31 points. NW Christian of Lacey finished second with 73, followed by 3. Seattle Lutheran 83, 4. Reardan 91, 5. White Pass 123; 6. St. John-Endicott 127, 7. Bear Creek 162 and 8. Tri-Cities Prep 198.
