Comets earn medals
Naselle's Tylor Nortrup and Nicole Laney each medaled in the pole vault at last weekend's Class 2B State Track and Field Meet last weekend at Cheney.
Nortrup cleared 12' to place third and claim a medal.
Laney placed eighth in the girls pole vault, 8', to earn a medal, and she placed 12th in the preliminaries of the 400m run in 1:04.49 but didn't advance to the finals.
