Health center to consider county clinic
The board of directors of the Cowlitz Valley Health Center agreed Tuesday evening to consider Wahkiakum County's request to take over the Wahkiakum Family Health Clinic.
"They agreed to go ahead with their due diligence process," Wahkiakum County Commissioner Lisa Marsyla reported Wednesday morning. "They're not saying they'll take over the clinic; it's not a given."
Marsyla said she will supply a financial report on the clinic to the health center this week and coordinate a response to questions.
