Man guilty of killing former local resident

A Boundary County, Idaho jury has found a man guilty of second degree murder of former Cathlamet resident Anna Old.
The defendant, John August Funkhouser, a former Naselle resident, will be sentenced on October 22.
Old and Funkhouser had been a couple at times. Testimony in court said that she had asked him to move out of her house last November. Jurors agreed that Funkhouser threatened her with a gun which went off accidentally and killed her.
