The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Clatsop Weavers and Spinners Guild return to Redmen Hall in July for an exhibit titled "It's So Nice to Have a Loom Around the House." It will feature the practical side of weaving and spinning, showing handspun and woven articles of use around the house. Rugs, towels, clothing, blankets, shawls, place mats - all of these items and more will be displayed. Most will be for sale.

The exhibit opens on July 20 and runs through September 1.Weavers and spinners will practice their crafts at Redmen Hall during the weekends the exhibit is open and members of the guild will be available for questions. Redmen Hall, located at 1394 West SR4 in Skamokawa, is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
