Liquor store closing

Janell Seaberg, owner of The Cathlamet Liquor Store, is retiring. Her last day of operation will be June 28.

The Cathlamet Market will purchase the remaining inventory and will have liquor for sale after the closing of the liquor store.

Some store items, such as a desk, shelves, cabinets, gift bags, etc., will be sold so the public is welcome to stop in.

“I am excited to be retiring after 18 years,” said Seaberg. “I will miss all of my customers, new and old, but will really miss the daily visitors that would just stop in to visit. Lastly, I would like to thank the community for supporting one of the last independent liquor stores left in the state after the new legislation was passed two years ago.”
