The Bald Eagle Day Parade

 


Here are the judging results from the 33rd Annual Bald Eagle Days Festival parade.

Grand Prize: Olsen Logging Company, "now in its fourth generation of Cathlamet loggers. No job is too big or small. At Olsen Logging, we cut them all!"

Car clubs: 1. Cowlitz Old Time Car Club; 2. Wahkiakum Model T's 1926 Ford Roadster.

Log trucks: 1. Dan Yurmanski, Jerry DeBriae Logging, truck 84.

Motorcycles: 1. Community Members; 2. Wahkiakum Search and Rescue; 3. Jaiden Mahitka and Jade Hauff.

Decorated vehicles: 1. Skamokawa Farmstead Creamery/Vicki Allenback; 2. Lower Columbia Chapter of Parents, Friends and Family of Lesbians and Gays.

1. The Astoria Clowns; 2. General Federation of Women's Club, Cathlamet branch ; 3. (tie) Wahkiakum on the Move and Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce 1936 San Francisco trolley.

Antique cars and trucks: 1. 1959 Nash driven by Jay Rockford; 2. 1929 Ford Roadster driven by Dennis Bahneman; 3. (tie) Todd Deaton in 1966 Mustang convertible; Dave Mosteller driving his 1978 Indy Pace Car Corvette, Model A Victoria driven by Lemmie Rockford, and Scout Troop 883 in 1953 M38A-1 and a 1951 M37.

Children's groups: 1. (tie) Wahkiakum High School cheer squad and the Mini-Mule cheerleaders and Strutters Baton Team.

Floats: 1. Sons of Norway Helgeland Lodge; 2. Birnie Slough River Rats; 3. Wahkiakum County Fair Royalty Abbie Eayon, Marcie Dunham, Kyra Scuito, Tara Wisner, Alison Kirby and Courtney Zurich with 2013 Queen Aaliya Montgomery.

Animals: 1. K-n-K Kalvary 4-H Club; 2. (tie)Angel Wings Rescue and Wahkiakum 4-H Clubs; 3. (tie) Sophie Fosburg-Crotty riding a Fathoma Bay Hackney gelding, Gabryel Lincoln riding Chance, a Rocky Mountain pony, and Alexi Forsberg-Crotty and Saphira Forsberg riding an Arabian bay mare.
