Longtime Puget Island resident, Laverne E. Neilson, 97, passed away February 23, 2010 at Columbia View Care Center.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at United Church of Christ (Congregational) in Cathlamet at 11 a.m.
