January 2--9:06 a.m. A motorist reported a vehicle was disabled near County Line Park; the state patrol was advised. 10:56 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman having problems with her pregnancy. 1:26 p.m. A North Welcome Slough Road resident reported theft of engine and vehicle parts.
January 3--1:52 a.m. A motorist reported a disabled vehicle along SR 4 near Nassa Point; the state patrol was notified. 8:49 a.m. A caller reported having paid money to a cabinetmaker some time ago and the order hadn't been started; the caller was told it was a civil law, not criminal law, problem. 8:52 p.m. A Westend resident reported a possibly stolen vehicle had been abandoned on Kandoll Road. 9:16 a.m. A contractor reported a blasting schedule for a rock pit near Brookfield. 1:41 p.m. A caller reported a violation of a restraining order; an officer investigated. 2:51 p.m. A woman reported someone had damaged her vehicle while it was parked at a Main Street business; a deputy was advised. 3:08 p.m. A caller reported a boat was adrift on the Columbia near Stella; Cowlitz County was advised. 11:31 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman who was very ill; a Life Flight Helicopter was also dispatched.
January 4--3:44 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman having severe back pain; a deputy was also dispatched to investigate. 9:29 a.m. A Rosedale man reported a violation of a restraining order by a woman who was texting him; the caller reported several other instances. 1 p.m. A caller reported a boat was adrift in a slough near Stella and heading into the main channel of the Columbia; Cowlitz County was notified. 2:39 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Crista Vista man who had lost consciousness. 4:49 p.m. A motorist reported a traffic accident on SR 4 near County Line Park; several vehicles, including an ambulance were involved; the state patrol investigated. 7:25 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a motorist who reported two vehicles had collided on SR 4 one mile west of County Line Park; the Cathlamet ambulance was dispatched in case there were injured persons. 10:34 p.m. A caller reported a woman was threatening to commit suicide; a mental health professional made contact.
January 5--9:52 a.m. Wahkiakum School District reported illegal drug activity; an officer investigated. 1:29 a.m. A caller reported a 17-year-old girl had run away. 11:32 p.m. A Skamokawa resident reported being harassed over the Internet; she was advised to seek a restraining order.
January 6--10:55 a.m. A motorist reported that someone had left a motorhome parked partially on the Altoona-Pillar Rock Road; an officer investigated and ordered the vehicle towed away; a tow truck operator was unable to access the vehicle. 4:53 p.m. A Rosedale resident reported a theft of medication. 6:13 p.m. A motorist reported seeing a vehicle swerving along SR 4 near Cathlamet; a state fish and wildlife officer spotted the vehicle parked at a gas station in Rosedale and checked the driver, who was okay.
January 7--1:52 p.m. A Shannon Road resident reported the main meter on a house under construction had melted; the PUD was advised. 2:13 p.m. A Cathlamet man asked for officers help in recovering a vehicle sold by another family member to a Longview resident; he was told this was a civil law problem. 2:25 p.m. A West Sunny Sands resident reported a brown shepherd/pit bull mix dog was chasing deer. 11:08 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported at an Elochoman Valley residence.
January 8--1:40 a.m. A caller reported that people driving a red vehicle had knocked windows out of the school bus at the St. James Family Center in an attempt to break into it; they were gone when an officer arrived. 2:29 a.m. A motorist reported a vehicle had run off Greenwood Road and the driver needed a tow; an officer was advised. 8:56 a.m. A woman reported being stalked over the Internet. 12:08 p.m. A Grays River resident reported a theft of medications. 4:10 p.m. A Skamokawa resident reported an assault; an officer investigated; neither party wanted to press charges. 4:37 p.m. A man reported that as he and his wife were walking along Crossdike Road, a bullet whizzed by their heads by a person who was doing target shooting; an officer made contact and gave the shooter a warning.
