April 2--5:46 a.m. A caller reported hearing shots in the Alger Creek Road area and suspected poachers were responsible. The Department of Fish and Wildlife were notified. 11:34 a.m. A Middle Valley Road resident reported the theft of money. Adult Protective Services was notified. 12:19 p.m. A Glengate Road resident reported the theft of a bicycle. The caller later reported that the bike had been found behind the museum. 12:29 p.m. A Rosburg business reported the theft of gas. 6:14 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a West SR4 residence to aid an 87-year-old man who was dizzy and passing out. 6:46 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a N. Welcome Slough Road resident whose hip replacement had dislocated.
April 3--8:14 a.m. An Olive Street resident reported the theft of money, credit cards and medications from a car. 10:29 a.m. A caller reported a mother and daughter were fighting in a vehicle headed towards Cathlamet. A deputy investigated and separated the two and made referrals for counseling. 12:19 p.m. An East SR4 resident reported receiving possibly fraudulent phone calls requesting account numbers. 3:57 p.m. A caller reported being chased by a black lab on West Birnie Slough Road. 4:04 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to the clinic to transfer a 34-year-old woman to St. John Medical Center. 7:11 p.m. A caller reported an intruder at a Jacobson Road residence. A deputy was unable to locate anyone on the premises. 11:18 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to an Elochoman Valley Road address to aid a woman who was having dizziness and vertigo.
April 5--1:11 a.m. A caller reported that someone had turned off the power to a Fairgrounds Road residence twice that day. 8:17 a.m. A caller reported a one car accident on SR 4 near the Grays River Covered Bridge. State Patrol was notified. 4:23 p.m. A caller reported that a 12-15' object was adrift in the Cathlamet channel. 5:57 p.m. A 3rd Street resident reported hearing shots fired. A deputy was advised.
April 6--2:37 p.m. A Pillar Rock Road resident reported a possible trespass and damage to a tree on property caught up in a family dispute. 10:58 p.m. A deputy stopped a vehicle on Boege Road near the fire hall; one person was taken into custody.
April 7--12:40 p.m. A Salmon Creek Road resident reported that a woman had violated a court order by calling him. He stated this had happened several times before and that he had each occasion documented. 1:14 p.m. A caller reported that a 38' sailboat had run aground in the Cathlamet channel and that he would wait for the tide to rise in order to free the vessel. 12:21 p.m. A caller from the Jacobson Road residence that had reported an intruder on April 3 stated that someone had tapped on her window. She said this had been going on since the death of her husband in 2008 and that her son was being cyberbullied.
April 8--2:01 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a Hill Drive residence to aid a 91-year-old female with pneumonia. 6:24 p.m. An East Birnie Slough Road resident reported that someone had sprayed graffiti across a house and garage. 9:36 p.m. The Grays River Ambulance responded to aid a 78-year-old man with complications from diabetes.
April 9--9:34 a.m. A Wallen Road resident reported that two huge boulders had slid off a nearby hill and smashed into the north wall of a house. Contractors were contacted to assist.
