Competition in the 2010 high school foootball season starts Friday, and the Wahkiakum Mules entertain the defending Washington Class 2B champions, the Adna Pirates. Game time is 7 p.m.

Mule cheerleaders fare well in camp

The Wahkiakum High School Cheerleaders recently returned from a National Cheerleaders Association summer camp.

Claussen places 5th in state golf tourney

Wahkiakum Mule senior Cole Claussen placed fifth in the Washington Class 1B/2B State Golf Championships at the Tri-Cities Country Club in Kennewick last week.
