Annual spring tea,
luncheon set for
May 18 at Rosburg Hall
The women of Grays River Friendship Circle have combined their sixth annual Spring Tea and Luncheon: “ Keeping You In Stitches and Tea”, with a display of local residents’ needlework, and a power-point slide show history of Grays River Valley Pioneers.
Local historian Carlton Appelo will narrate the history.
The public is invited to enjoy a full luncheon of assorted sandwiches, fresh fruits and vegetables with dips, and a dessert of various dainty cookies, tea and punch.
Doors at the Rosburg Community Hall in Rosburg, will open at noon on May 18. Luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m. with the program following. People attending may wear a treasured dress or hat for the occasion if they wish.
Again this year, sponsors have many donated prizes for the raffle, and winners may choose their prizes from those displayed. They may increase chances of winning by purchasing multiple tickets at $1 per chance.
There is a minimum donation of $5 per person at the door.
