Woman injured near Naselle
A Rosburg woman sustained neck injuries in a one-car traffic accident Monday morning.
Gerri J. Cowell, 26, was driving eastbound on Parpala Road, Naselle, when her 2008 Ford Focus left the roadway. According to a report from the investigating Washington State Patrol, Cowell overcorrected, and the vehicle rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Cowell, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained neck injuries and was airlifted to Emanuel Hospital, Portland, for treatment.
She will be charged with negligent driving.
