What promised to be a "Shoot out at the O.K. Corral" between Willapa Valley and Wahkiakum Golf teams for the league title turned out to be a 182-202 stomping by the Mules on their way to an eighth straight league title at the Pirates Lair, Willapa Harbor CG.

Adna shot 224 while Raymond and South Bend were both incomplete. The Mules finished 26-4 in intra-team match posting the best team score nine times in 12 appearances. The individual shootout for medalist was won by Austin Good of the Mules who shot 41 in the 26 man event. Zach Calvert, 44, finished third, Elliot Haney, 47, Brady LaBerge, 50, Tanner Bergseng, 71, and Hsaun Wei Haung, 78.

The Mules now will prepare to defend the District Championship and secure the coveted District Trophy on May 20-21 at Newaukum Valley GC in Chehalis. The Mules have won the traveling District Trophy five of the last seven years.
