A contractor will start replacing culverts under SR 4 just southwest of the Elochoman River Bridge this week. The project will require one-lane closures.Traffic impacts are expected all week.

The state Department of Transportation also announced that another contractor will be working along the highway between Cathlamet and Longview for maintenance and tree trimming around power lines, requiring daytime, single-lane and shoulder closures.
