Early Words Toastmasters Hosting Tall "Tails" this Saturday

August 14, 2014

“Man Meets Squirrel” and other funny stories will be featured on the Squirrelfest Main Stage by the Longview Public Library this Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m.

Early Words Toastmasters are inviting children and the general public to step forward to share their funny squirrel and other furry animal stories as part of their Tall Tales program. People can register in advance to have a speaking spot or just take their chances and show up at the stage. Wear a costume. Bring your pet (squirrel) and tell your story!

For 44 years, Early Words Toastmasters have met every Tuesday from 6:05 to 7:30 a.m. Guests are welcome to attend our meetings at the Canterbury Park 2nd Floor Community Room, 1335 3rd Ave, Longview.
