Greenwood Cemetery asks cooperation of public

August 28, 2014

Commissioners of Cemetery District #1 have announced that all excess items such as shepherd hooks, glass vases, statues, etc., will be removed from graves and placed by the wooden box at the back of the first mausoleum building 10 days after a service there.

On September 15 all current items will be removed and left at the box.

The situation has become out of hand for the mower and the cemetery is unable to be tended efficiently.

The commissioners appreciate the understanding and cooperation of the public.
