Harvestfest set for November 15

Stella Lutheran Chapel announces that its annual Harvestfest will be held November 15 from 4-6 p.m., at the Chapel, 124 Sherman Rd, Longview. Go to Stella, turn on Germany Creek Road, go two miles and turn left on Sherman Rd.
A down-home dinner of chili with choice of condiments, cornbread, salad and apple dessert will be served for a suggested donation of $10. Enjoy spiced cider and coffee in a festive atmosphere.
The popular annual event is a fundraiser for the chapel. Raffle tickets for a Stihl blower and handmade quilt will be sold. A silent auction featuring creative gift baskets and other items donated by church members will be held, ending exactly at 6 p.m.
