Wahkiakum County commissioners honored employees for longevity at their jobs on Tuesday. left, Hans York, a retired deputy sheriff, was honored for five years as a court security officer; he helped start the program. Right, Detective Mike Balch was honored for 30 years of service in the sheriff's department. Also recognized but unable to attend were Chis Holmes, 25 years with Health and Human Services; JoAnn Barton, 15 years with the sheriff's office, and Lisa Frink, five years in Wahkaikum 4-H.
