President of United Way asks for help

December 18, 2014

To the Eagle:

This holiday season, as we enjoy family and friends and give thanks, we hope you will join us in remembering those in need.

For many of our neighbors, the holidays are a difficult time. They may be struggling to pay the bills, might not have enough to eat, or could be without a safe place to live.

Our local United Way campaign supports 23 partner agencies and their programs. These agencies count on your generous gifts to the United Way of Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties to provide the services that gives those in need a helping hand.

Your help is needed today! You might think your gift is unimportant or won’t make a difference, but every dollar counts. You can send your gift or pledge today, give online, or call our office at 360-423-5320.

When we all live united in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties we can create positive change in basic needs, education, health and financial stability. We are thankful that we can help others and hope that you’ll do the same. Please give generously.

JD Rossetti,

Board President

United Way of Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties
