To The Eagle:

Just a quick reminder that the JA Wendt PTO is still offering raffle tickets for our Movie Night gift basket. Tickets are $1 and everything you’ll need for a fun-filled evening of family fun is in there: Movie of your choice from Cathlamet Video, pop and candy, and lots of popcorn! Winner’s name will be announced at the end of the movie on December 19. Need not be present to win, we will get it to you.

We will host “Movie in Your Jammerz” Friday, December 19, at the elementary school at 6 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Donations are welcome; we will have concessions on sale as well as pop and water. The movie will be “Maleficent.” Can’t wait to see you all there. Don’t forget to wear your jammies and bring your soft pillow and blanket to cozy up and watch the movie. Moms and dads don’t have to wear their pajamas and they may bring a comfortable chair.

Our last of the school year fundraiser will be 10 cent candy canes. They will be available on Friday, December 19 at last recess.

Just one last great big thank you to the principal, teacher’s aides, students, volunteers, the Parent Teacher Organization and all of the volunteers that give their time and help us at the last minute, and most of all the community and local businesses for your generous donations. Without you, none of this would be possible. You are what made the 2014 school year a super success! Without your help it wouldn’t have been possible.

Merry Christmas and a very happy and safe New Year! I am looking forward to working with all of you in the 2015 school year.
