Just a few quick notes about what is going on at JA Wendt Elementary School.

The PTO will host Movie Night on January 30 at 6 p.m., at the elementary school, in the multi-purpose room. Concessions will be available, donations will be appreciated and the movie showing will be “Dolphin Tale 2.”

Starting the Week of February 2 we will be hosting an “Ibreakfast the Parfait Way” contest. All Students are welcome to join in the activity. It will also be for the Middle and High School students. All students that would like to partake in the Ibreakfast contest on Wednesdays will receive a special raffle ticket and if they choose to eat a Wonderful Fruit and Granola filled Parfait they will receive an additional ticket. There will be a drawing at the end of breakfast for a chance to win an iTunes $15 gift card for the next five weeks. On the sixth week there will be a drawing for one IPAD. Yeah! All they have to do is eat a Parfait on Wednesdays and they are entered into the drawing. More info will be sent home in the following days.

In March we will be hosting a “Talent Show” this would be a fundraiser for the PTO, to help us with our ongoing projects. This would be open for all ages and all of the community. There will be a $5 entry fee. Everyone will be able to perform and showcase their special talents. No try outs necessary; all will be able to perform. We will be hosting our monthly Popcorn Friday on January 30, for $1.00. Don’t forget to have your child sign up with their teachers. All money will be collected on Friday at 8:30 a.m., sharp.
