Adult spelling bee benefits students

February 26, 2015

Members of Altrusa International of Cowlitz County (The Breakfast Bunch) will continue their local tradition when they host the 7th annual Spell-ebration, an adult spelling bee.

The event will be held at the Kelso Theater Pub on Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m. This is a major fundraiser for the Breakfast Bunch with proceeds primarily going to scholarships for local students but to other local charities as well.

Returning to defend their title, and retain “bragging rights” will be the Kelso Rotarians.

Guests, cheering squads and friends are welcome for an entrance fee of $8/person, which includes a slice of pizza.

Altrusa International is a world-wide association of civic-minded women and men who volunteer their energies and expertise in projects dedicated to community service and betterment.
