The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The 2015 Bald Eagle Planning Committee will meet on Wednesday, May 27 at 5 p.m., in the Cathlamet Community Center. At this meeting, voting will take place on the 2015 Grand Marshal and the 2015 theme. All Wahkiakum County community members are invited to attend and participate.

Planning meetings occur twice a month, and then will be held more frequently when the event draws closer. Volunteers are needed for many aspects of this event.

For those interested in becoming a vendor on Main Street during the event, contact the Chamber of Commerce via phone (360-795-9996) or via email (wchamber@cni.net) to obtain a 2015 Vendor Application. Vendors interested in selling food need to contact the Wahkiakum County Health Department to acquire a food permit. Spots are quickly filling up, so don’t delay.
