Lower Columbia College has announced the 2015 Salal Spring Arts Festival. The event will take place on Friday, May 29 from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Rose Center for the Arts.

From 12-4:30 p.m., there will be demonstrations by artists who make jewelry, paint, create ceramic art, throw pots, create book art, demo stamp art and more. There will also be fencing, debate and drama demonstrations.

From 2-3:30 pm, poet Joseph Green will give a free writer’s workshop entitled, “Saying It in Six Lines” in the Wollenberg Auditorium.

At 4:30 p.m., the 2015 Salal Review will be launched. Between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m., Joseph Green will read from selected works.
