At the fair this year, the Wahkiakum County Master Gardeners gave a prize to the youth in Open Class entering the largest (by weight) cabbage. Anna Zimmerman won with a purple cabbage weighing 6 3/4 pounds. Her prize was a garden tool and gloves. Photo provided by Carrie Backman.
