Deadline approaching for dock, piling work

To The Eagle:
This is a little heads-up for those thinking about installing a new dock or ramp piling. The allowable time frame allowed is October 1st through December 31st for any work done over the water. An application (JARPA) can be obtained through the Wahkiakum Building Department or downloaded from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife website.
I also recommend that the instructions also be downloaded. If this is something that is being considered for this year, then time is of the essence. It will take at a minimum 25 days and could take up to six months or more for a complex application. I have just been through the process and can advise or help if need be.
