Anyone needing assistance with providing Christmas presents for their children up through the age of 17 may contact the Star Program at 360-431-5232. All calls will be handled discreetly.

This year the Star Program is using an application process to better serve their clients--the children. Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s office or Health and Human Services at 42 Elochoman Valley Road. They must be returned no later than November 15.

Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and can be made at Bank of Pacific or Bank of America in Cathlamet or mail them to Star Program, P.O. Box 276, Cathlamet, WA 98612.

Trees will be displayed at Bank of America and Bank of the Pacific in Cathlamet and The Duck Inn and Skamokawa Store in Skamokawa from November 23 to December 10. Delivery of presents will be December 14-18.

Gifts may be returned to the place where the star was picked up.
