The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November 28. This is a wonderful opportunity to share time together with our community and ring in the Christmas season.

Families are invited to gather at the Wahkiakum County Courthouse on Main Street in Cathlamet at 4:30 p.m., to sing carols. The holiday lights will be turned on and Santa will arrive shortly thereafter. Mingle with Kringle at the Community Center and enjoy festivities and fun.

Additionally, several Main Street businesses will be open with extended holiday shopping hours and specials throughout the day and into the evening.
