WIAA honors Souvenir

Peyton Souvenir, a junior and starter for the Lady Mules was recently named WIAA Athlete of the Week.
Peyton Souvenir, a junior at Wahkiakum High School was selected last week as a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Athlete of the Week.
Souvenir was nominated by a community member for leading the Mules to three wins against Pe Ell, Winlock and Mossyrock while scoring a total of 79 points. In those three games, she also had 32 assists, 24 steals and 13 rebounds.
After looking over all the incoming nominations, WIAA staff selected Souvenir for the honor.
Souvenir will receive a congratulatory letter from WIAA Excecutive Director, Mike Colbrese, a WIAA State Athlete of the Week t-shirt and a certificate.
