Lady Mules lose to Napavine at State 2B Tournament

The Lady Mules' bid for the state championship ended today when they lost to their nemesis, the Napavine Tigers, 58-28.
The team plays the loser of the Mabton/Okanogan game tomorrow at 11:15 a.m. The winner will take third place and the loser will finish in fifth place.
The Lady Mules have faced the Tigers four times this year and lost four times.
Peyton Souvenir led the team with seven points. Savannah Burdick scored six points. Maddy Mace and Macie Elliott added four points each. Tyra Elliott had three points. Charlie Ashe and Rory Heywood scored two points apiece.
The Lady Mules were 15/71 from the floor and 4/6 from the free throw line. Napavine pulled down 44 rebounds while the Lady Mules only grabbed 26.
