A tug works to free the stranded freighter Sparna.
A bulk carrier, the Sparna, apparently ran aground Monday morning (March 21) in the Columbia across from the Hansen National Wildlife Refuge for the Columbian White-tailed Deer. A couple readers sent photos; this photo is by Genie Cary.
