The next blood drive is fast approaching in the Valley Bible Church. It is scheduled for Tuesday, the 12th, from noon to 6 p.m. You can get more information by calling Susan Burkhalter or schedule an appointment by going to the Red Cross site. This event is always a fun time where you can provide a lifesaving gift and enjoy delicious sliders and other goodies provided by local volunteers. Check it out.

The Free Friday Night Movie for this week in the Grays River Valley Center at Johnson Park is a 2015 release rated PG-13. The American epic dystopian science fiction film is the final chapter of a series where Katniss Everdeen prepares to win the war against President Snow and the tyrannical capitol.

Concessions are also available with candy, popcorn, and pop for a buck each, with a free popcorn refill at intermission. The show starts at 7 p.m.

The Rosburg Wednesday Senior Lunch Bunch meets in the Rosburg Hall each week for delicious home cooked meal prepared and served by Pat Potter and her volunteers. Lunch is served at noon.

On Thursdays, lunch is also provided at the above location for seniors and is sponsored by CAP.

An extra special celebration is planned by the family and friends of Phyllis and Norman Sotka this weekend. Everyone is invited to attend the 65th wedding anniversary celebration for this amazing couple on Saturday, April 9 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Valley Bible Church. The couple requests no gifts but please bring your best wishes and your memories and fun stories to share. Congratulations to two wonderful people, and wishing you many more celebrations together.
