The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

On Friday, a Cub Scout pack will hold a sign up night at the Skamokawa Grange, 6 p.m. Scouting volunteers hope that youth interested in Cub Scouts and their parents will consider joining. The pack has been in existence a few months.

"It is heartwarming to be able to bring Cub scouting to Wahkiakum County," said Sharon Kuroda, Boy Scouts of America district executive. "Through fun and adventure, these boys gain in confidence and character that will carry them on through their lifetimes."
