The Cathlamet Community Center will hold a bingo event today (May 26) with an array of prizes to be awarded.

On June 4 they will host the Coast Guard Auxilliary Boating class from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per person (payment due on the day of class). Completion of this class will also give cardholders recognition in Canada and Oregon.

Boaters in Washington need to have their Washington State Boater Education Card with them when operating a boat of 15-horsepower or greater. Boater/operators born before January 1, 1955 are exempt but may choose to get a card if they plan to boat in Canada or Oregon since both require mandatory education.
