Floral design class for youth offered

On July 25 at 6 p.m., Cowlitz County Master Gardener Marge Lippincott will discuss the basics of flower arrangement.
Students will learn how to combine form, color, style and balance into a beautiful display. Following the presentation, youth will design their own display and then can enter them at the Cowlitz County Fair.
Preregistration is required by July 18. Class size is limited to 12 youth ages 6-12. The cost of the class is $5.00 per student.
Classes will be held at the Cowlitz Training Center, 1942 First Avenue, Longview. The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.
