The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Friends of Skamokawa at Redmen Hall will hold their annual fundraising celebration ‘A Cornucopia Wine Tasting and Auction Benefit' at the Skamokawa Grange at the Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 10 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

This event will feature special wines and beer/ales to taste and compare, (non alcoholic beverages will also be available), small plates to enjoy prepared by Ginger and Jake caterers, a live auction of fine items - B&B nights, kayak lessons, paintings, blown glass, ceramics, gift baskets and more. There will also be some music and a silent auction.

Tickets are available at Cathlamet Bank of the Pacific, the Skamokawa Store, and at Redmen Hall. The advance price will be $15 per single and $30 per couple. The price at the door will be $20 per single and $35 per couple.

Those wishing to donate an item for the auction may drop it off at the hall, 1394 W SR 4, Skamokawa, during open hours - Thursday-Sunday 12-4 p.m. For more information call the hall during open hours at 360-795-3007.
