The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Wahkiakum Mules cross country team competed in a Greater St. Helen’s League 2A meet in Woodland October 12. Teams from R.A. Long, Woodland, and Cedar Tree Classical Christian were there.

Kyrah Scuito was the lone member of the girls team to run. She finished the 5,000 meter race in 35:30.19 and took 18th place.

Alex Peachey Mellis led the Mule boys to take 22nd place. He finished in 24:23.9, followed by Seth Kuljis in 23rd place with a time of 27:40.3. Leif Carroll finished the run in 36:12.09 and came in 24th place.

The Mules travel to Mossyrock today (Thursday) to compete in the 2B District 4 Central League Championship.
